Celebrate the Sixth Annual Earth
Festival
at Ocean Song!

Join us at Ocean Song on Saturday, June 2 for a day of fun, dancing and education at the 6th Annual Earth Festival. Beginning at 1:30 pm the all day event features author and activist, Jerry Mander, Reggae/Rock band, Bear Bones and spoken word poet and activist, Drew Dellinger. Other musicians and speakers will be on the main stage throughout the day.
Workshop sessions are from 2 – 3:15 pm and include Chickens in Your Backyard with Shepherd Bliss, TTouch with Nan Koehler and Jaynellen Kovacevich, a nature walk and an introduction to Permaculture.
Kids can participate in a variety of fun and creative activities in the staffed Children’s Area. Local environmental groups will be on hand to talk about many different issues and opportunities to get
involved. Organic freshly-prepared food and drinks from Slice of Life will be available for purchase.
Performances end at 7:30 pm and are followed by an evening fire circle with music, song and ritual. Cost is only $10 per person. Please carpool if possible and bring a water bottle, plate and utensils to help reduce trash. |
