An environmental education, “coyote mentoring” program for children ages 5-12 years old. A small group of 10-12 children engage in a unique learning experience with naturalist/mentors Annie Klein and Arrow Andersen that weaves together exploring in nature, developing wilderness awareness skills, and practicing the Peacemaker’s principles in all of our relations. The program runs for 3 months in the Spring and Fall with 6 sessions occurring every other Sunday from 10-3 pm. For three summers now, Coyote Camp has been providing children from the ages of 5-12 with a magical experience of exploring the wild land of Ocean Song. In addition to going on exciting adventures,children also have the opportunity to experience ancient stories, express his/her creativity through song, dance, crafts and theatrical performances, swim in the pond, swing from the oak trees, and uncover the mystery behind the ultimate trickster character– Coyote!
